Support Local Farms and Eat Fresh

Harvest time: local farmers sell organic produce at the Ann Arbor Farmer’s Market

The best part of summer is all the delicious fresh produce in season available for us to buy. Another great thing is that we live in Michigan, which is full of farms and farmer’s markets! Having farmer’s markets scattered all over our wonderful state makes it easy for us to eat fresh, eat healthy and support our local farmers at the same time.

If you don’t visit farmer’s markets often, maybe you should consider making them your grocery store replacement for produce this summer. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much money you’ll be saving and how delicious your food will taste!
