Perks of Living in Plymouth Hills

If you’ve chosen to move into a manufactured home at the HomeFirst™’s Plymouth Hills community, you’re in luck because there is so much entertainment within the community and in the surrounding area.

Check out the community clubhouse, where we host different events where everybody who lives within the friendly confines can participate in activities like bingo and ice cream socials.  If you’re a person who likes to be outdoors, that’s great because there are 12 parks in the city of Plymouth, which feature things like baseball diamonds, basketball courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, and more.

City Activities to Take Part In

One of the most popular attractions Plymouth has to offer is the Plymouth Cultural Center & Ice located on 525 Farmer St., approximately 10 minutes away from Plymouth Hills.  Open skating is available throughout November and December with minimal costs for skating and skate rental.  If you have a child who happens to like playing hockey, or soccer they have a wide array of sports teams and leagues to participate in in which he or she can compete against friends across the community.

Although Plymouth Hills has a clubhouse you’re welcome to use for events, the Plymouth Cultural Center is also a great place to host wedding receptions, baby showers, holiday parties, and much more.  They have a large reception room which can comfortably hold 180 people as well as a smaller room which can hold 50 people. So, depending on the type of party you’re having, the Plymouth Cultural Center can accommodate you.

When you make your way to Downtown Plymouth, you’ll be glad to see everything there is to do.  The downtown area hosts over 130 events throughout the year, including an ice sculpture competition. You can see plenty of music all year long, whether it’s at Kellogg Park in the summer or at any one of the downtown bars on most Thursday and Friday nights all year long.

Historical Museum

The Plymouth Historical Museum is located at 155 S. Main Street in Plymouth, roughly 10 minutes away from HomeFirst™ Plymouth Hills.  You, and any young ones can learn about the rich history of Plymouth through a timeline in a permanent exhibit.  There are also displays on the Ford Village Industries, World War II, and communication history.
There is much to do in the city of Plymouth, and it’s all within minutes of Plymouth Hills.  On a rainy day, it is a great idea to take your kids to the ice rink or museum to have some fun.  If you haven’t already done so, purchase a manufactured home in  Plymouth Township.  Experience all of the benefits that come with moving into a HomeFirst™ community today!
