October 4: Pumpkin Patch Car Bash

The Lunch Box on Main Street will be hosting the Pumpkin Patch Car Bash on October 4th from 5:00PM-9:00PM. Stop by for a nice dinner, cool cars, a costume contest, live DJ, and a pumpkin carving contest!

October 11: Harvest Fest

Drop by 4th Street between the library and museum on October 11th, 11:00AM to 4:00PM, and explore Belleville’s agricultural past. This year’s Harvest Fest will include butter churning, pony rides, candle dipping, scavenger hunts, and other games and activities. All activities are free!

October 8, 15, 23, 24, and 25: Belleville Area Museum Paranormal Tours

Want to have a real ghostly encounter of your own this Halloween? The Belleville Area Museum will be hosting paranormal investigations in conjunction with Parahaunt on October 8th and 15th. Participants will be able to join in a real paranormal investigation. These two nights are a fundraiser for the museum and costs $20 for Belleville Area Historical Society members and $25 for non-members. The investigations run from 8:00PM-2:00AM. The results of the investigations will be revealed on October 23rd, 24th, and 25th. You can visit the museum from 7:00PM-10:00PM to see the results or take a family-friendly paranormal tour of the museum. For the October 23rd, 24th, and 25th events, tickets are $5 for historical society members and $7 for non-members.

October 25th Community Events

October 25th is a wonderful day for Belleville families! You can start the day off by coming to the Booville tent at 4th Street Square for a pancake breakfast from 8:00AM-11:00AM. Breakfast is $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 5-12, and free for children under 5. Stick around the Booville tent from 12:00PM-4:00PM for kid friendly games, crafts, and movies. From 5:00PM-7:00 PM, kids can walk the Candy Loop at Quirk Park to trick or treat with local businesses.  Be sure to wear your costume!

October 31: Downtown Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween! Put on your costume and come out to Downtown Belleville for trick or treating with area businesses. The Belleville Central Business Community will also be hosting a costume contest at 4th Street Square.
