LEGO-Palooza Comes to Lansing January 24 and January 25
Can’t get enough of playing with LEGOs? You won’t want to miss LEGO-Palooza at Lansing’s Impression 5 Science Center January 24th and 25th. For these two days, you’ll have the chance to spend the day challenging your imagination and building awesome things out of LEGOs in the free build area. Attendees can also join in the balance challenge, check out the LEGO wall, make LEGO keychains, have your picture taken in the LEGO photo op area, and more!
LEGO-Palooza is fun for all ages and runs from 10:00 AM through 5:00 PM on January 24 and from 12:00 PM through 5:00 PM. For Impression 5 members, admission is $10 for kids 4 and up, but free for adults and children 3 and under. For non-members, admission is $7 for adults, free for children 3 and under, and $17 for kids 4 and up. Space is limited, so register online or call (517) 485-8116 ext. 132 to reserve a spot. Registration is still required even if there is no charge for one or more people in your group. All children who attend are required to be accompanied by an adult. Attendees are welcome to bring lunches or have lunch delivered to you during the event.
If LEGOs aren’t your thing, Impression 5 has lots of other things to offer and is an amazing place for families to visit and spend time together while learning about new things. Impression 5 has over 150 activities in their 25,000 square foot exhibit area for visitors to come and explore various scientific concepts at their own pace while having fun at the same time. Regardless of how old you are, you’re bound to learn something new at Impression 5. Their “First Impression” room even gives a place for babies and kids through age 4 the chance to have some early exposure to scientific ideas in a way that’s fun and comfortable for them.
Impression 5 Science Center is located at 200 Museum Drive in Lansing and is open on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 AM through 5:00 PM and on Sundays from noon until 5:00 PM. Admission is free for Impression 5 members. For non-members, admission is $7 for adults, $6.50 for seniors, $7.00 for kids age 1 and up, and free for children under 1 year old.
