Huron Valley Eagles: The Best Place for Live Bluegrass Music
If you want to hear good live bluegrass music, the Huron Valley Eagles Club in Flat Rock can’t be beat! Since 1981, the Huron Valley Eagles Club has hosted an incredible amount of talent on their stage and has earned a reputation for being one of the top places in Michigan for live bluegrass music.
On Saturday nights, stop by the Huron Valley Eagles Club to see a main performer plus at least one other supporting act. Coming up on March 28th, Marion Blue will be taking the stage and there are even more great acts coming up in April. Next month, the Whitaker Brothers will be performing on the 4th, local legends Wendy Smith and Blue Velvet are performing on the 11th, and the Ron Bloomfield Band on the 18th. Last, but certainly not least, are Cobb, Cupp, Manns and the Coachmen will be hitting the stage on April 25th.
The Huron Valley Eagles Club is dedicated to giving local and regional bluegrass acts a place to perform, grow as musicians, and keep the bluegrass style alive. And you never know who might end up become a rising star in the bluegrass world! Several local musicians who got their start playing in venues like Huron Valley Eagles Club later went on to play alongside some of the country’s top bluegrass superstars.
Not only is the Huron Valley Eagles Club a great place to check out some local talent, they’ve also hosted some of the biggest names in bluegrass, including the Osborne Brothers, Jim & Jesse, Dave Evans, Ralph Stanley, and the Father of Bluegrass himself, Bill Monroe.
The Huron Valley Eagles Club is located at 13636 Telegraph Road in Flat Rock. All performances start at 8:00 PM and doors open at 7:00 PM. Performances typically run through 11:30 PM. Admission to all shows is just $7 and children 12 and under get in for free!
