Holidays are Happier in Hartland

During the holiday season, it’s not only nice to spend time with your friends and family, but also to spend time with the people in your community. If you’re looking for something fun to do to celebrate this festive time of year, look no further than your own neighborhood! Lots of cities host holiday-themed events this time of year which are lots of fun to go to by yourself or with your whole family. If you live in our Hartland Meadows manufactured housing community, you won’t have to travel far for holiday fun!

If you or your kids are big fans of The Polar Express, you won’t want to miss Hartland’s annual Polar Express Day! This is a fun, very family friendly event where you can get some hot chocolate, decorate some cookies, feed some reindeer, hear some live music, check out an electric train collection, and more. Of course, there will be a reading of The Polar Express at the Cromaine Library! There’s so much more to do, so this is bound to be the kind of event your kids will look forward to all year long!

Every year, the Village Manor Retirement Home in nearby Howell hosts a Breakfast with Santa event where you and your kids can have a nice breakfast, make some crafts, decorate cookies, and of course, take pictures with Santa. A picture of your child with Santa is a fantastic way to remember your holiday season for years to come.

If you can’t make it to the Breakfast with Santa event in Howell, you have another chance for your child to have their picture taken with Santa at the annual Rockin’ With Reindeer event. In addition to Santa pictures, you’ll also have the chance to see some live reindeer, have some cookies and a cup of hot chocolate, listen to Christmas carols, and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring some non-perishable food, pet food, or clothing items to donate to community sharing. It’s a great way to have some fun and give back to the community at the same time.

Need a gift for that person who’s hard to shop for? Hartland Meadows is right in the neighborhood for the annual Warm ‘n Cozy Bazaar at the Hartland Educational Support Center. This is the largest holiday bazaar in Livingston County with over 200 independent vendors with their unique, handcrafted items for sale. You never know what you might find here!

With so many ways to celebrate the holiday season in the neighborhood, you’ll love spending this time of year in Hartland Meadows. You and your family will absolutely love spending time in your new, cozy manufactured home. The homes you find in Hartland Meadows are so stylish and modern, you’ll be amazed at the value you’ll get by living here.
