Having Fun – and Celebrating Our Residents – at HomeFirst™!

HomeFirst™ has always strived to offer our residents many things – the best amenities, well-rounded community management, and above all a place to call home. But we at HomeFirst™ know that we wouldn’t be where we are without you, our residents. With that in mind, we like to give back to our residents by providing fun activities and a chance to get outside and enjoy the neighborhood!

Many of our HomeFirst™ manufactured home communities offer a Residents Appreciation Night! The Residents Appreciation Night is a perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbors and enjoy some fun activities. A huge barbecue cookout handles dinner, and there’s plenty of activities provided for your kids to have fun and play with the other kids in the neighborhood. And heck, if you’re lucky, maybe you’ll even get a shot at the dunk tank!

Or maybe you’re looking for something a bit more exercise-focused? Several of our communities hold the Walk-A-Thon, a regularly scheduled walk across the entire community that’s offered to any interested residents. The Walk-A-Thon is a great chance to get to know your neighbors, enjoy the fresh air, and even get a little workout in!

HomeFirst™ is always interested in giving back to its communities through charitable donations, and since January of 2014 we have partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan to grant wishes and fulfill the dreams of seriously ill children. Each one of our community events, including the Residents Appreciation Night and the Walk-A-Thon, includes a donation center to give to the Make-A-Wish Michigan foundation. Our goal for 2015 is to raise $10,000 company-wide, and with your help we aspire to grant a wish to two ill children this year.

Here at HomeFirst™, we want to make our residents feel welcome and at home. Through events like these, we want to foster a sense of community and provide a fun night (or day!) out. Fun, friendship, and family – isn’t that what you want in a home?
