Halloween Fun in Augusta Woods

As Halloween approaches, there’s all sorts of fun things to do in HomeFirst™ communities, whether it’s decorating your house with silly or spooky decorations, or taking the kids out trick-or-treating to your HomeFirst™ neighbors. With a friendly community atmosphere and lots of great amenities to take advantage of, autumn can be a great season to get started with HomeFirst™.

Some HomeFirst™ communities, such as Augusta Woods in Belleville, MI, have a lot going on for the Halloween season. In fact, Bellville event has a page they designated for fun “Booville” events. Here are a few we think sound awesome!

Annual Harvest Fest

From 11am to 4pm on Saturday, October 10th in downtown Belleville, come celebrate the fall season on 4th street in between the district library and historical musuem. It’s sure to be a great time for families, young or old!

Night at the Museum Paranormal Investigation

If a night full of spooky scares sounds fun to you or your kids, join Parhaunt and other Belleville community members at the Belleville Area Museum and Historical Society from 8pm to 1am for some creepy haunts and adventures. Come experience the event on either Wednesday October 14th or Friday October 16th. Pizza will be served at 11pm.

Belleville Zombie 5k Run/Walk

This year on October 17th starting at 9am, the annual Belleville Zombie 5k Run/Walk is happening in downtown Belleville! Whether you’re an active athlete or a relaxed walker, this event is great for anyone. To register, visit Active.com and sign up to be an appocalypse survivor!

Witch’s Ball

The kids get to go trick-or-treating, but let’s not forget about fun for the adults. On Friday October 23rd, bring your friends or a date to the 4th St Square, Booville Tent for a downtown Belleville bar crawl, presented by the Belleville Area Chamber of Commerce with Egan’s Pub/Downtown restaurants and bars. The festivities begin at 7:30pm and finish at the tent at 10pm. Ladies are encouraged to dress in witch costumes!

Pancakes and Pumpkins Breakfast

The very next day, come back downtown on Saturday October 24th for some yummy breakfast! Hosted at the same 4th St. tent, come from 8am -11am pancakes are only  $6 for Adults and $4 for children ages 5-12. Children under 5 years old are free! Furthermore, if you run the Dash in Disguise 5k that morning, you can get a discount on your meal!
