Garth Brooks at Joe Louis Arena February 20-28
After retiring from music, country superstar Garth Brooks is back! His latest album, “Man Against Machine” was released in November 2014 and was his first album of new material in 13 years. Now he’s back on the road and performing in cities throughout the country. He will be stopping by Detroit for a series of six shows at Joe Louis Arena on February 20, 21, 27, and 28. His wife Trisha Yearwood will be joining him on stage at all six shows. It’s sure to be a show country music fans won’t want to miss!
This series of concerts will be Garth Brooks’ first performances in the Detroit area in 18 years and it seems his fans are thrilled to see him back in town. Tickets first went on sale in December and over 107,000 tickets have been sold for all six shows so far with sales still going strong. This breaks Brooks’ previous record for Michigan ticket sales, which was set for a series of five concerts at the Palace of Auburn Hills in 1996.
On February 20th and 27th, the concert will start at 7:00 PM. On February 21st and 28th, there will be two different performances, one starting at 7:00 PM and another at 10:30 PM.
Tickets are $66 and can be purchased online or by calling 1-800-745-3000. If you would like to avoid paying an additional convenience fees, tickets can also be bought at the Fox Theater box office, the Joe Louis Arena box office, or at Hockeytown Authentics in Troy.
