Family Friendly Fun Near Ridgewood!

Are you a fan of quaint, small town charm? If so, you’ll love living in Milford, Michigan! And for affordable housing in this lovely area, look no further than our Ridgewdood manufactured housing community!

Milford may be a small town, but it’s full of great things to offer. If you have kids, it’s a truly wonderful place for them to grow up. Not only is it part of the acclaimed Huron Valley School District, Milford has lots of great family friendly things for you to do together as a family. Here are just a few of the great things you would be able to enjoy as a Ridgewood resident:

Milford Cinema

Going to see a movie is a great way to spend time together as a family, but between the ever-rising price of tickets at most theaters and the sky-high price of food from the concession stand, it can cost a small fortune for a family to take a trip to the multiplex. Milford has a solution to that problem with Milford Cinema! Milford Cinema is a small theater that only has one movie at a time, but tickets are just $5 for kids and $6 for adults, several dollars cheaper per ticket than visiting a regular multiplex!

Free Concerts

How would you like to spend a summer night outside with your family enjoying some live music? If you live in Milford, you’ll have plenty of chances to do just that! Every year, Milford has a series of free concerts in Central Park in their brand new Lafontaine Family Amphitheater. These concerts feature artists who play many different styles of music, so whether you like rock music, pop, jazz, or country, there’s bound to be something you like. And best of all, these concerts are totally free, so bring the kids and some snacks for a lovely evening in the park.

Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum

Our Ridgewood community is located about a half hour’s drive away from Farmington Hills, where you’ll be able to visit Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum. The museum is owned by Marvin Yagoda, who has spent over 50 years collecting vintage coin-operated games, animatronics, and other oddities that could be found in the arcades and carnivals of yesteryear. His extensive collection is now housed in Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum and many of the pieces in his collection do still work and visitors are welcome to try them out. So be sure to bring plenty of change for a unique day out!

Ridgewood residents will also be able to enjoy the community’s swimming pool and playground, so there are even more ways for you to have fun as a family without even having to leave the community! If Ridgewood sounds like the type of place you’d like to live with your family, take a look at the manufactured homes available in the community. Questions? Contact us! We’d be happy to help you out.
