Fall in Michigan
Autumn in Michigan can be debated as one of the most gorgeous views in America, and as well as one of the most beautiful seasons in Michigan. There are so many fun activities to do in the fall ranging from craft making and leaf pile jumping to cider mill visits and pumpkin patch pickings.
But I believe above all autumn activities to choose from, fall camping in Northern Michigan would have to take the cake. If you have never gone camping in the fall, I highly suggest trying it out. Not to mention the drive up north is beyond breathtaking, the experience is all its own. The air is chilly; the leaves are an array of colors and tumble to the ground around your campsite. Beyond just beauty, camping in the fall is perfect for the youngsters; they get to jump in piles of leaves, find cool colors of leaves and be outdoors to run around for hours!
If this post has convinced you to take a nice weekend trip with the family up north, then here is a great resource on state parks and camping sites around northern Michigan. If camping is not your thing, then just go for a day trip, taking a nice scenic drive through the more northern areas of Michigan. A drive right now in the heart of autumn will be the most colorful and breathtaking and it will reinforce the reasons why you live in this wonderful state!
