6 Movies to Look Forward to in 2015

Hollywood released some awesome movies in 2014, keeping the bar high for an exciting encore in 2015. From much-anticipated sequels to intriguing originals, here are six of the top movies to look out for, along with their expected release dates.


Release Date: March 6

Starring Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver, this is not your average robot movie. In Chappie, we’ll get to meet the world’s first robot that can not only think, but also feel. Outside influences affect the way Chappie thinks and behaves, a fact that’s underscored when he’s kidnapped by gangsters with an alternative agenda.

Woman in Gold

Release Date: April 3

Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds star in this drama about an elderly survivor of World War II who, along with her lawyer, sues the Austrian government for the return of classic artwork stolen from her by war criminals.

Pitch Perfect 2

Release Date: May 15

The sequel from the 2012 popcorn hit , the Barden Bellas will take their show on the road with aspirations of becoming the first American team to win an international singing competition. From Anna Kendrick to Rebel Wilson, the whole cast and crew is back together for what promises to be an entertaining flick!

Jurassic Park

Release Date: June 12
Twenty-two years after the debut of Jurassic Park, one of the most iconic movies in Hollywood history, Jurassic World will give us another glimpse into dinosaur culture. The story is set a full 22 years after Jurassic Park and will begin in the dinosaur-infested island of Isla Nublar. After this, the details are a little fuzzy. This only adds to the suspense of this much-anticipated movie, starring Chris Pratt.

From Marvel Studios, Paul Rudd stars as a down-on-his-luck man who tries to change his fortunes by stealing a superhero outfit that would enable him to shrink to the size of an ant while maintaining the strength of a human. But a different fate awaits him, and now he finds himself with the fate of the world in his hands.

Hunger Games

Release Date: November 20

In the much-anticipated finale of critically acclaimed The Hunger Games series, which first came out in 2012, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and crew begin their revolution to dismantle the Capitol and end the reign of President Snow. How will it all play out? We’ll find out in what promises to be an epic conclusion.
