Graduation is right around the corner for many high school seniors. It’s a time filled with mixed emotion, sadness of the world your children are leaving behind, and excitement for what is to come.

This summer send your graduates out in style! Hosting a grad party is the perfect way for them to say good-bye to friends and family before they start their next big adventure. Hosting a party doesn’t have to be expensive either. Here are some simple, yet fabulous ideas to help you get started!

Photo booths help create wonderful memories, but they can be expensive. Instead, you can make your own photo booth area. Hang up a sheet or curtain as your backdrop and have someone standing by with a camera. You can even make your own props. Uploading the photos to an online album is a cheap way to share those memories with friends and family.

Centerpieces and flowers can be expensive. But if you want to dress up your tables, try using empty pots with photos of the graduate in them. You can use photos of the graduate at all ages.

Having your graduate’s party at home is a great way to save money. But depending on your guest list, you may not be able to fit everyone comfortably. If you live in a community with a clubhouse, they will usually let you rent it for free. But make sure you reserve the date soon in case someone else has the same idea!

Food can be a big part of the budget for any type of party. Keep it simple. A pasta bar is a delicious, and inexpensive way to feed your guests.
