3. Sign Your Paperwork
Once you have selected the appropriate home for you and your family, a purchase agreement is signed, the deposit is placed and a formal credit application is submitted to lenders. If you wish to order a new home at this time, you will also make your finish selections, which include:
- Exterior Shingles
- Carpeting Colors
4. Final Invoice and Confirmation
Upon completion of step 3, the homebuilder will send back a final invoice confirming pricing, finish selections and the floor plan with all of your revisions.
5. Review Final Checklist
Before closing and taking possession, a walk through of your home is completed. Before you complete buying a manufactured home, a punch list is prepared for items remaining to be finished by the homebuilder.
6. Pick Up Your New Keys!
Once all terms are agreed upon and all remaining items are completed, a closing is scheduled to sign all of the paperwork. At this point you will receive the keys to your new home.
