Ordering Custom Manufactured Homes
Everyone wants somewhere they can truly call their own, right? With traditional site-built houses, you’re often left choosing from a selection of pre-built houses – which means you’re stuck with whatever floor plan and layout the home has at time of purchase, due to the high cost of large-scale renovation and even higher cost of purchasing a custom-built house to your specifications.
Wouldn’t it be nice to know you could get your own home built your own way? With HomeFirst™ manufactured homes, the process of getting your own custom manufactured home has never been easier or more affordable!
Step 1: Get Community Approval
The first step in ordering a custom manufactured home is choosing the community it will live in. All you need to do is browse our manufactured home communities to find the perfect one for you and your family, choose the community your home will be delivered to, and submit your application to community management!
Step 2: Choose a Floor Plan
No matter how big your family is or what your lifestyle requires, there will be a HomeFirst™ home for you. Need extra bedrooms? No problem! Prefer a larger living room to entertain company? We can do that! It’s your home, your way, and we’re sure you’ll find the perfect home for your family.
Step 3: Get Financial Approval
We understand that, even for a home as affordable as your HomeFirst™ home will be, buying a home is a substantial investment. If you’re considering purchasing a custom manufactured home from HomeFirst™, we offer financing options to help get you and your family into the home of your dreams. Once you’ve customized your home, it’s time to determine your payment methods. (This step may not be required for all home buyers.)
Step 4: Customize your Kitchen
Once you’ve chosen the perfect floor plan and receive financial approval, the next step is to customize your kitchen! Nearly everything included in the kitchen can be tweaked to your liking from a wide variety of options. The countertops come in a variety of colors and patterns, the cabinets can be customized to just the color you want, and there’s a number of flooring options to pick from. Every time you walk into your kitchen, you’ll know it was made to order just for you!
Step 5: Choosing Your Color Options
The customization options don’t just stop at the floor plan! When you purchase a custom manufactured home, you can select the colors and features of the interior and exterior as well. You can choose the color of the siding, paint selections, flooring, light fixtures, and kitchen features such as cabinets and counters! Now you’re no longer stuck with whatever color options the builder – or previous owner – decided on, and you don’t have to pay for costly remodeling!
Step 6: Make Your Down Payment
Even if you have chosen to finance your home or not, we do ask that all homes be given a down payment at time of purchase. The amount of the down payment may vary depending on several things such as the community you’ll be moving into and the cost of the home, and the down payment will be due before the order can be placed.
Step 7: Submit Your Order!
Once your options are selected and your down payment is made, all that’s left is to place your order! Your home will be delivered to you just as you ordered it, and then all you have to do is move in and enjoy your new home!
