Labor Day weekend is one of the last weekends before the end of the summer for kids and adults to have some fun. If you don’t want to drive too far and spend much money then you should consider heading out to Downtown Detroit for the 32nd Annual Detroit Jazz Festival.

The Detroit Jazz Festival has been labeled as ‘the best Jazz Fest on the planet’, and who wouldn’t want to be part of that? This festival lasts all 4 days of the Labor Day weekend, so there is no chance of missing it. It includes a wonderful array of Jazz musicians from all over, lots of food, and best of all- it’s free!

The Festival will be Jazzin’ it up starting at 4pm on Friday until 11pm, then running from 10:30am-11:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. The last day is on Monday and will be wrapping up Labor Day with a blast from noon until 8:30pm! For more information check out the event website and no matter what you end up doing on Labor Day weekend- we hope you have a great one!
